Media Advisory: ALPA Announces Media Open House at International Aviation Security Academy

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) will hold a one-day media open house at its upcoming International Aviation Security Academy which runs April 15-19, 2002 in San Diego, CA.

Media access is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, and will be the only media availability during the Academy. Subjects to be discussed during the day include current and future airline security measures, disruptive passengers and air rage. Several of the Academy’s instructors will be available for interviews. Reporters interested in attending should contact Anya Piazza at the number listed below before 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on Tuesday, April 16. The on-site contact will be Ron Lovas.
