ALPA Gemini Crewmembers Re-Elect Officers

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The uniformed crewmembers of the Gemini Air Cargo unit of the Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) re-elected Captain Fred Bailloux, First Officer Dale Roberts, and Flight Engineer Doug Williams as their status representatives, effective March 1.

For a status representative election, each eligible crewmember may vote for each status representative. Captain Bailloux received 85 percent of the votes, First Officer Roberts received 97 percent of the votes, and Flight Engineer Williams received a majority of the votes.

In the near future, the crewmembers will vote again on which positions on the Master Executive Council these officers will hold. Currently, First Officer Roberts is the chairman, Captain Bailloux is the vice-chairman, and Flight Engineer Williams is the secretary/treasurer.

ALPA is the world’s oldest and largest airline pilot union, founded in 1931. It represents 66,000 airline pilots at 42 carriers in the United States and Canada.
