May 17, 2007 - More than 100 ALPA pilots gathered in Washington, D.C. to send a clear message to Capitol Hill and the White House: "We are takin' it back." Pilots from other unions, family members and ALPA staff contributed to a sizeable turnout at the IAM's 2007 Transportation Workers' Day Rally.
ALPA President, Capt. John Prater, addressed an ALPA rally before the main event, and took his place as a speaker at the main event alongside other union presidents, presidential hopefuls, and members of Congress. MEC Chairmen from numerous ALPA pilot groups were on hand to lend their support.
