ALPA Congratulates NATCA on its 25th Anniversary

WASHINGTON – Capt. Lee Moak, president of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), issued the following statement today in recognition of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association’s celebration of the organization’s 25th anniversary:

“The Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l, congratulates the National Air Traffic Controllers Association on its 25th anniversary. For two and a half decades, the professional air traffic controllers of NATCA have helped make air travel extraordinarily safe in the United States.

“The Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l, deeply values our close working partnership with NATCA, and we respect the critical role that each and every air traffic controller plays in ensuring the safety of our flights.

“We look forward to continuing to enhance our collaborative work with NATCA in the future, and to advancing our shared goal of achieving the highest possible standards of safety in air transportation.”
